Englewood, NJ, June 2011– Robert Rey, President of NVE Bank, is pleased to announce that NVE Bank joined Rebuilding Together Bergen County (RTBC) on April 30th, as part of National Rebuilding Day in Englewood, NJ.
NVE Bank had over 14 employees volunteer to paint, garden and make repairs to the Bergen Family Center, the oldest continuously operating family service agency in Bergen County. Additionally, NVE donated $6,000 to Rebuilding Together Bergen County to assist with providing free home repairs and modifications for low-income homeowners. “We are committed to making a difference in the communities that we serve,” noted Mr. Rey.
NVE volunteers worked diligently alongside other Rebuilding Together friends and volunteers, including members of the Junior League of Bergen County and Church of the Atonement in Tenafly. In addition to the work at the Bergen Family Center, more than 300 Rebuilding Together volunteers worked at seven homes across the county on National Rebuilding Day.
“Over the last thirteen years, we have completed some two hundred projects in Bergen County,” said RTBC president MaryEllen Doster. “We are always grateful to see corporate sponsors like NVE come out to support the work at the home or community building their funding supports.”
