NVE Bank Receives Community Service Award

NVE Bank recently received the 2010 Community Service Award from the NJBankers Association for our participation and efforts in improving the lives of NJ citizens and the communities we serve.  “I believe that the NVE Team does an outstanding job at participating in local service organizations and charitable events.  Employees generously give their personal time to lend a helping hand whenever they can,” noted Robert Rey, President of NVE Bank.

NVE Bank was awarded this honor at the 2011 NJBankers Convention for our community efforts throughout 2010.  Awards were considered based on community involvement and asset size, and NVE was selected over a group of numerous NJ banks.  NVE Bank’s involvement included participation with the March of Dimes Walk, Teach Children to Save Program, their Annual Scholarship Program, the Woman’s Club of Leonia and Englewood Hospital’s Walk for Awareness to name a few.  The NJBankers Association will compile a book to share with legislators and the media showing the contributions of community banks.

“This not only confirms our commitment to our customers and neighbors, but demonstrates in these tough economic times why customers belong here and what a positive impact we make together at each and every event,” added Mr. Rey.
