NVE Bank Presents Bergen County Students with Scholarships

On June 18th, NVE Bank was pleased to host a reception at our Englewood headquarters in honor of the 10 high school seniors and 7 middle school students who received scholarships as part of the Bank’s annual student scholarship program. In attendance were the students and their family members, school officials, and senior officers and board members from NVE Bank. The scholarships are part of a community program that has been offered by the bank for the past five years, and reaffirms the commitment NVE has made to helping build the future of Bergen County.

This scholarship program awards graduating seniors chosen by their respective schools $1,000 to help alleviate some of the costs associated with achieving a higher education. Middle School recipients are awarded a $500 Savings Product, which the Bank hopes will help them begin a savings program for their own college goals. Since the inception of the program, NVE Bank has awarded over $80,000 to deserving middle grade and high school students throughout Bergen County.

It is part of NVE’s mission as a Mutual Bank to spearhead initiatives like our scholarship program that strengthen the communities where we live and work. By reinvesting financial resources back into neighborhoods, and committing personal resources through volunteerism, we strive to improve the quality of life in our communities, ensuring they remain healthy and strong.
